About Taglit-Birthright Israel
Taglit-Birthright Israel began in 2000 and since then over 14,000 Jewish Canadians between the ages of 18–26 have traveled to Israel, joining 145,000 young adults from around the world on the trip of a lifetime. You travel with people just like you on a 10-day trip that introduces you to the marvels of Israel and connects you to your global and local Jewish community.

Taglit-Birthright Israel is a unique partnership between the people of Israel through their government, local Jewish communities (United Jewish Communities, Keren Hayesod, and the Jewish Agency for Israel), and leading Jewish philanthropists. Taglit-Birthright Israel provides a gift of first time, peer group, educational trips to Israel for Jewish young adults ages 18 – 26.
