Description: Position Summary: The Campaign Assistant provides administrative support to the annual campaign staff and volunteers who collectively raise $7.5 million. The Campaign Assistant manages the mechanics of donor canvasser relations, coordinates campaign operations and donor servicing, and serves as the campaign’s central source for record keeping and data Management. Responsibilities: - Provide administrative support to campaign staff and volunteers in the day to day operations of the campaign. - Maintain ongoing contact with canvassers and volunteers to monitor the progress of personal solicitations. - Generate campaign correspondence, documents and reports in a timely manner. - Coordinate campaign meeting schedules and preparation for staff and volunteers and produce meeting and follow up materials including agendas, minutes and other campaign documents as needed. - Produce and distribute campaign materials to donors, volunteers and staff. - Create structure charts/event charts and binders with various reports for all full campaign cabinet members at beginning of campaign. This is done in the preparatory period before campaign. - Distribute weekly reports to team captains and working cabinet leadership. - Monitor annual campaign staff tasks and assignments and ensure they are followed up and completed on time. - Coordinate the volunteer schedule for the campaign telethon week with relevant campaign associate. - Work with the Event Coordinator to distribute invitations for special events and manage event registration.
Desired Education Degree/Level: Bachelor's
Prior Experience: Qualifications:
- A related bachelor degree and 2-5 years experience in an administrative support position.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with fundraising database programs, preferably SAGE FR100.
- Proficiency in all office software programs including MS Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to deal effectively with multiple “customers” including donors, volunteer leaders and management.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Prior fundraising experience.
- Familiarity with philanthropic community.
- Information systems experience, including but not limited to presentations and sound systems.
- Ability to work flex hours during Campaign time.
- Prior event organizational experience.
