Position Summary:

Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver is seeking a Program Manager to oversee and expand its young adult programming. The position requires an individual who has a strong commitment to Jewish communal life and philanthropy, an ability to connect and engage young adults from a variety of backgrounds, and who is capable of using an array of social networking tools to reach out to foster stronger community links. This is a new position at Jewish Federation, created to engage the next generation more deeply and meaningfully in community life and leadership activities.

Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to: Taglit-Birthright Israel follow up, and management and implementation of all young adult programming, leadership development and fundraising initiatives.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a Masters degree in a relevant field, a minimum of two years experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to work independently, proactively, and as a part of a team where required, and a sound knowledge of Jewish institutions and community life.
