Richmond Jewish Day School is devoted to the sacred task of educating Jewish youth to be knowledgeable and committed Jews and responsible Canadian citizens. We desire that our students become enlightened, well-rounded human beings for whom Jewish perceptions of the universe and G-d are primary determinants in building a concept of self, a personal ethic, and social concern.

The General Studies program provides a firm foundation in English, Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, French and Computers. We provide our students with a rich Judaic studies program encompassing the Hebrew language, traditional texts, customs and ceremonies and ethical principles.

We want the school to be an active, positive force in the Jewish community through its direct involvement with the students' families and other community institutions and through the activities of its students during and after their period of enrollment.
